Signs of Fall

Date: 09/10/2010

Number: 1

The barn swallows have left. I am always sad when they are gone, I love listening to their singing all summer. The chickadees have come back from the fields and are working on the sunflowers, and the goldfinches are turning color. The Red Winged Blackbirds are also gone, will miss their songs as well. This morning I saw my first small flock of geese heading south. Fall is here.
