I had 2 hummers return this summer, male, female and then a baby was added to the hummer family. The last time I saw the male was on Monday, Sept. 6th. The other 2 continue to feed at my feeders and flowers. I will miss these tiny birds, they are such a joy to watch....No specific time to enter on my observation time, I have 2 feeders on each end of my porch and I keep my binnoculars near by, so I can watch them up close. Usually total time 1.5 hours daily.
