August 31rst thru September 5th there was a drop in the number of hummers I was able to easily count at my 4 feeders (9). Monday the 6th there was a sharp increase of activity at the feeders, what looked like between 25 and 30 at a time. We had hard rains from the 6th thru the 9th and have continued to see a great amount of activity. I'm going thru about 10 cups of food a day.
Today (the 10th) the number of hummers seems to be smaller again, maybe only 20.
