I have seen 4 Ruby Throated Hummingbirds the last 2 days. Down from 6. there are 3females and 1 male. The male has completely taken over l feeder. Sitting on top of the pole that holds the feeder. He even hides in the bush next to the feeder and when another bird approaches the feeder the male rises up from the bush like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. It is so enjoyable watching these birds and I will miss them when they are all gone.
