The back yard of Danny Pearson who lives on Heights Drive in the old town of Katy, Texas. He has many jars of sugar water and has seen the black/brown Hummingbirds, the ones with the red throat and the green ones. They even sit together on the feeding bowl for three. As of today, the yard is still full of the little beauties. I saw one dark one in my yard at the beginning of the week. I live in Katy also, but don't have the amount of Hummingbirds that my friends have in thier yards. Still, they fly here in Katy. We will miss them when they leave.
