Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/11/2010

Number: 1

We are the only people feeding hummingbirds in a two mile radius of our home. We used nearly one gallon of syrup in 6 feeders a day from July until Labor Day. The males were gone a week before Labor Day. We have seen 4 to 6 females around the last few days, including this morning. During the summer, we had swarms of birds, just like bees, around the feeders. We also have flowers that attract hummingbirds.
