Date: 09/10/2010
Number: 500
We have a huge overnight roost as of 9/11/2010. We first noticed them 9/10/2010 when my grandmother was mowing the yard. When she passed the trees it disrupted them and you could really see the numbers. We have a nice spot of trees between a pond and a bean field and they covered the trees there. So many the trees turn their vivid orange. We're estimating 500 at least, from what we've seen on the pond. This morning (9/11) they're there again and don't look to be traveling. Though there was quite a bit of rain last night, not sure if this effects their travels.
