I witnessed 34 Monarchs flying southbound within one half hour. Mostly one at a time, but at one point, three were flying together. I live in a crowded suburb of Detroit and have either never noticed or witnessed this before. It was stunning! My observation time: I was watching for 0 hours and 30 minutes.
