Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/11/2010

Number: 1

Seem to be down to only two, after having 5,6 and even 7 at a time. I believe these to be the same two I've had awhile. Both females, both chase each other around, and go from feeder to feeder in front and back yard. They are out there from dawn to dusk and all day, often resting on my platform feeder or in the willow tree next to one of the feeders, or in the Mimosa tree. (Hummers LOVE mimosa trees, but you won't find too many north of 40 degrees latitude :-/
