Question: All summer our backyard held many monarchs, swallowtails, cabbage, buckeyes, and skippers. Last week, we had two overcast days and there were no butterflies of any kind. What happened to them during our cloudy spell? Yesterday and today, (Sunday) life is normal and the backyard is full of butterflies.Where they sleeping when the sun was obstructed by clouds? My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
