Just been down to Owen Pt � about 10,000? Monarchs in 15-20 clusters plus lots of loose ones. Most quite high and well off trail.

Lighthouse has about 500 in 3 clusters. Lighthouse monarchs are much lower, closer and in open so much more photogenic.

All are facing east so first light (if we get any sun) has potential for some nice pictures. I�m coming back early!

Thanks a lot Bill for the phone calls. This is pretty fantastic. Best Don T has seen on the mainland in 20 years of working here.
