Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/13/2010

Number: 1

Over the weekend the interference from downy woodpeckers at the nectar feeder necessitated me adding an auxiliary feeder since the hummers are afraid of them and need their fuel. Our hummingbird population has declined, from the previous 6, in the last 36 hours as a cold front came through. Now there is only one identifiable female and an immature male - possibly related?
