Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/13/2010

Number: 1

Today, there were two at the feeder. It looked like two young ruby-throat males: No noticeable white on the tails with short beaks. But as young males have no ruby on the throat until after the first molt, it was my guess that they are first-year. Hummingbird activity has become much less frequent in the past week.
