Two female hummingbirds are still at our (four feeders)-they have been playing and sparring for weeks in the backyard. Two days ago we noticed a THIRD female, but today the same two. This is the latest we have seen them, we can see them getting plumper, and treasure each dusk as we know they will be on the way soon. Also this has been the first summer that downy woodpeckers have been on the hummer feeders all summer.
