Today our class of first graders released 2 newly emerged Monarchs at 1:45 PM. from our classroom observation cage. One came out of its chrysalis at about 9:00 AM. The other came out at 10:00 AM. Both flew to the South as we watched them.
*Teacher's note: These two made their chrysali on August 31, the day before school started. We have two more chrysali that we are watching that formed after school began.
