As has been the case for the past few weeks, the day started out cloudy and foggy, a single Rufous Hummingbird and 3 Anna's Hummingbirds are out from the first light. Late this afternoon, I heard the distinct call of a male Rufous, it sounded just like an X-Wing Fighter from the Star Wars movies. I cannot believe it could have been an adult male though, they're been gone for weeks.
