We raised a monarch in our classroom, and it emerged this morning. We are releasing it this afternoon. We have seen MANY monarch butterflies as well as other species in our area this end of summer and into fall time period. We're wondering if our hot and dry summer has affected the number of butterflies - seems to be more this year than ever before/ My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
