Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/13/2010

Number: 1

Sitting at a picnic table in Southport Park, Kenosha Wi. Enjoying the wonderful view of Lake Michigan, A lone Monarch appeared. A couple of minutes later three more appeared. At the waters edge they appeared out of nowhere after completing their flight over Lake Michigan. In short time that I watched I estimate I saw about fifty Monarchs in 30 minutes.
