I am starting to see more Monarchs coming into the yard to nectar this last week with the fronts. Where I have had about 3 Monarchs hanging around, mating and egg laying since August, I am starting to have 6-8 Monarchs more intent on nectaring. I am also seeing more Monarchs nectaring on wildflowers around the county. Unfortunately, the rains did not come when needed in August, and with triple digit temps, and hot southerly winds, I am not finding alot of new growth on native milkweed.
My observation time: I was watching for 2_ hours and ___ minutes.
