We had hummingbirds nesting near our house in 2009 and started feeding. This year they nested closer, possibly in the evergreens to the south of where they were flying in from last year. We had fledglings at our feeders! Now there is combative competition for the feeder (unlike YouTube, none of the HBs in our parts will share a feeder). They are stepping up feedings and may be getting ready to migrate. Probably not migrants since we don't have the most appealing flowers to attract travelers.
