Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/07/2010

Number: 1

While out watering my parched garden (a good portion of my state's in a drought), I was delighted by a young and/or female hummingbird nectaring my spotted jewelweed, which I'd planted on purpose to attract hummers at this time of year. I'm thrilled to say it works to bring them into my garden every late summer into early fall!
