Numbers are WAY down suddenly. As many hummers as we have, I can only judge by the nectar I put out. Last week: I put out @ 250 oz. daily. This week, I filled on Monday and still have nectar in the feeders. Large numbers of RT hummers early morning and late afternoon with maybe 15-20 at feeders throughout the day and others checking out flowers in the yard. Many just perch on twigs and rest, fattening up. Temps in the 80's, so still lots of bugs for them also.
