I was beginning to think that our hummingbirds were gone for the year...until, I got pleasantly surprised on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2010. I was really glad to see a ruby throated hummingbird come to our window feeder. It had been a couple of weeks since I saw one. I saw it twice and then; unfortunately,I had to get up and leave for work. I go through withdrawal when they leave. I will watch again in the morning, and hopefully be surprised again.
