Clearville Park is located on the north shore of Lake Erie at the Orford bluffs, just east Of Rondeau Provincial Park. These are today's Monarch butterfly counts at Clearville Park:
9:00am to 10:00am - 2500 per hour travelling to the south-west along the lake Erie shore. Temp 60 F, sunny, wind - calm.

10:30am to 11:30am - counted 5000 monarchs in 1 hour all flying parallel to the Lake Erie shore and towards Pt Pelee which is 50 miles to the south-west. Pt Pelee is where the butterflies cross the lake to Ohio. Temp 62 F, sunny, calm winds.

6:45 PM- Butterflies are now dropping to the ground and flitting amoung the trees at Clearville Park. Some trees have roosts in them. 86 butterflies counted moving between tree tops in the space of 10 minutes. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
