Today we went out into our butterfly garden and we saw a Monarch that had emerged from a crysalis but its wings were malformed. It could not fly. We also saw a Monarch fly into a Leland Cyprus hedge perhaps to shelter for the night. THe hedge is right next to our butterfly garden. We are members of the Middle School butterfly club My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
