As I was driving to work this morning, I saw 22 monarchs in about 10 minutes. I was going south on Missouri 291 between Salisbury and 39th Street. The monarchs were flying over the highway from east to west. It was 9:48 when I pulled into the parking lot at work. I also saw 50-100 birds flying overhead in a swirling pattern. I'm not sure what kind they were. My observation time: I was watching for _0__ hours and _10__ minutes.
