Previously, I wasn't sure as to whether the orange-colored Hummingbird seen in our backyard was an Allen's or a Rufous. It's size-about-three inches-indicated it was an Allen's - not a Rufous, which is significantly larger.

The Allen's Hummingbird left on Sept. 15, but not before I photographed it.
