We still see at least 8 humming birds, maybe even as many as 10. They move so fast that it is hard to count.

Yesterday I purchased one of the Hummzinger feeders, hoping to be able to see all the birds on a feeder, and not block the view on the back side with the nectar tank. But so far, they are not very crazy about it yet. They will perch on it, but don't seem to feed from it yet. Hopefully in time they will. I had read great reports about this feeder and do hope they will learn to feed from it.

Some times they birds seem a little more tolerant of other birds at the feeder. Other times, they seem to only allow two or three on the feeder at a time. Other times, we've observed as many as 6 at the old plain tank style feeders from Walmart.

Yesterday & today they are being bothered by yellowjackets. Sometimes wasps annoy them too. We try to swat them when we can.
