we have had at least 4 to 5 hummers since early august.but now there is only 2 or 3 .there was a ruby throat around but we have not seen him in about a week or so.i have a tobasco plant near the feeder and this afternoon i was trimming the leaves on the plant when a white chested hummer flew up to me about 2 feet away and fluttered around for a few seconds then flew off.i went inside after that and was watching and two were flying around takeing turns feeding.we will sure miss them when they take off.
