One female hummer today. Just passing through, I suppose, because I had not seen any for several days! I do not "observe", but, at 80 years old spend a lot of time inside the room where the feeder is hung outside. I miss the many "regulars" and look forward to their return in the spring. The "regulars" look for the feeder and one year (when I failed to get it out in time) I saw the first returner flying around the bottom of the chain from which I usually hang the feeder! Probably thinking, "Lousy service after all these miles!"
