We have been hosting not only our local dozen but lately as many as 30 at a time. A couple dozen hummers stayed around a good three weeks until the weather front came through and then they were gone just like that. It was quiet for a couple of days and now a smaller migrating bunch has joined our locals once again. It appears that the hummers that have been here all season are not anxious to leave as yet. I was making 2 - 2 1/2 qts. of nectar a day. They are hungry! Enjoy the show via our youtube video link below!
