Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/17/2010

Number: 1

Our resident summer hummingbirds disappeared from our yard last week. The last time I saw them was Sunday, the 12th of September. Today, I saw one lone visitor that was obviously a migrator and not one of out usual residents, as he did not visit any of the feeders and did not seem to know where they were. He visited several of the flowers in the yard, and took off as fast as he had appeared. He left in a southerly direction. Was glad to have him visit, but he was for sure, not one that knew where to find a feeder. Glad we could accomodate with a few flowers.
