At 7:00 a.m. this morning we had 7 hummingbirds at the North feeder; all appeared to be females with two young birds. At the South feeder, we saw 3 females attempting to "guard" the newly filled feeder. It's a beautiful clear morning, and the hummers are such a wonderful way to begin the day!
