Took our Puggle ( Mocha) outside to do her morning "dog stuff"..
at 8:15am! She still doesn't get the concept of "sleeping in" on Sundays!

I was standing just inches away from one of 4 feeders I have
on the back porch & a Hummingbird flew down & started drinking just inches from my face! What a wonderful surprise.. so early
in the morning.


I'm thrilled but sad at the same time because I know they'll all be leaving soon. This maybe the last one I'll see until next year.

Anyway... I took in all the feeders...cleaned them...& refilled only the small ones.. storing away the large ones until next year.

I got the 3 newly filled feeders hung back up just in time...

a female & a young male started drinking from two of the feeders!

so far as of 9:35am today I've seen 2 Hummingbirds

I'll definitely continue to observe them throughout the day.
