Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/18/2010

Number: 1

Thousands of monarchs came into town today, dropping out of the sky so rapidly and in such large numbers that I didn't try to count them. I watched from about 10:30 until 4:30 and peak activity seemed to be from 2-3. Our block goes from East to West and our porch faces north....Needless to say we didn't do much other than watch the butterflies all day. Quite a show! My observation time: I was watching for _6__ hours and ___ minutes.
