Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/19/2010

Number: 1

Although thousands of monarchs left this morning, there are still thousands in the state park nectaring. My guess is the ones we saw coming in on Wed were the ones who left this am. The ones who arrived yesterday, may hang a around a day or two since many of them (at least the ones that dropped by our cottage garden) appeared to be very fatigued. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
