The leaves are changing to bright oranges and reds thus far. This a.m. I heard a flock of geese heading south. Saw my one and only bat on August 1. The Flickers are still nibbling in the filed. We also have a young Male Rosebreasted Grosebeak coming to the feeder. The red is rusty and his head is still brown where as the rest of his body is black. I think along with the Flickers he is the last of the summer visitors.
