Monarch Butterfies are only attracted to purple and yellow flowers. Their wings are only 4 in long. Monarchs fly 2,500 km to get to Mexico. Monarchs also fly over the ocean and hide in a tree. Or cuddle up with others. All the kids in Mexico wait for the Monarchs to return. Monarchs chrysilles or pupa are lite green with little gold dots.I love to see Monarchs on my butterfly bush.When I went to a butterfly house with my friend we took pictures with our dsi's. We took pictures of all different butterflies including Monarch's. from Avery. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and 30___ minutes.
