This weekend I visited my Aunt who lives in Annona,TX, on her 10 or more acres of land, which is in Red River County, close to Clarksville and Bogata,TX. She has so many hummingbirds...I counted 15 - 20 buzzing all around me and the feeders! When they were all down there feeding, you could hear a constant buzzing in your ears!!! It was amazing to be standing right there and having them darting all over the place and in front of your face...they'd hoover right in front of my face looking at me...but of course my camera wouldn't focus fast enough to get a great show like that! But I did get so many wonderful close up pictures of them!

Out of all those hummingbirds, I think she only had 1 or 2 males...well I only seen a one or two with ruby throats.

I ask my Aunt to let me know when she sees her last hummingbird for the season so I can report it on here for her.
