I am still seeing at least one female hummer at my feeder today. I have had an unusual experience 2 or 3 days ago. There was a full grown female ruby throated come to one of my feeders then came up to the kitchen window and seemed to just look in at me.She went out in the yard a little then came back to the window doing that again 3 or 4 times. This happened again the next day or two. I almost felt she was not one of my regular summer hummers but one that was somewhat tamed at another's feeder this summer. What fun my husband and I had experiencing this.
