Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/17/2010

Number: 1

Arrived at this southern New Jersey beach town in early afternoon of Friday on a 75 degree day and was amazed at hundreds of monarchs gliding throughout the town, stopping to nectar on impatiens and blackeyed susans still in bloom. I understand the day before had rain and hard winds. The numbers continued throughout Saturday also. I saw much fewer, however, on Sunday, even though the weather was the same. My observation time: I was watching for ___1 hours and ___ minutes.
