This morning I visited some of my field sites and tagged 20 monarchs as the numbers are starting to increase!!! All on Bidens, probably saw 50 total in just a half hour. Last year Baccharus was the main nectar source, but I guess since this year migration is a tad early they are all over the Bidens.
