The Monarch migration must be heading our way. Yesterday we saw seven in the late afternoon. One Monarch was still sipping away in the zinnias at almost dark, then flew up into one of our maple trees for the night. Today we saw three in a 15 minute period, again in the late afternoon.
Three days ago we saw the last of the Monarch caterpillars we had been watching on the milkweed. My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and _15__ minutes.
