Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/20/2010

Number: 1

This morning just as the sun was breaking through the trees. From my porch a delightful visitor came by to feed on the Geraninums in my window box. It was a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird. It was easy to identify as she stayed hovering for many moments. She stayed in the area for most of the day as she was checking out other flowers at 5;00 p.m. It was a clear and delightful day of about 72 degrees.
