September 17
Went back to same spot as two nights ago around 530pm. Only two butterflies in tree. Went over to ocean beach to watch the rough surf and witnessed hundreds of butterflies come in from the ocean, and go in direction of the trees from previous night. When I got to the trees, there were 100's of butterflies in the trees.

September 15
Spotted roost on Dune Rd. in Hampton Bays at the South end of Ponquoge Bridge. Watched a couple hundred roost in some pine trees.
