My students and I made several outside observations today between 0930 and 1100. We were monitoring a large wildflower (Tickseed maybe?) patch on the scool grounds. We observed 3-4 Monarchs feeding and warming themselves. It was 82 degrees with a light wind. We plan to make daily observations to witness the peak migration arrival. We have milkweed ready and have found one egg so far. My observation time: I was watching for ___ hours and ___ minutes.
