Monarchs are on my backyard, I plant butterfly weed for them every year and there are caterpillars on the leaves already. In the past I have been lucky enough to observe them make the cocoons, and have seen them emerge as young butterflies.
I grew up in the Mexican state of Michoacan so I think of them as very special creatures. My observation time: I was watching for __1_ hours and ___ minutes.
