They are still here! Two hummers today. I believe one male and one female. They were acting completely normal, body checking, dive bombing each other, playing tag and chase...I just enjoy them so much! I think yesterday's high winds grounded one of the two that continue to visit us. I still have many flowers, it was hi 80s today, wind was strong, but a lot weaker than yesterday. Pretty warm this evening and I have lots of flowers still in the garden blooming profusely. I have hundreds of Morning Glories, many red salvia, seed dahlias, rhizome dahlias, rosemary, yellow day lilies, portulaca, purple verbena, several varieties of dianthus, tomatoe plants, crape myrtles,impatients, autumn joy sedum, russian sage, butterfly bush, marigolds and the mums about out open. I am very curious about how long the hummers will stay here.
