Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/22/2010

Number: 1

Took Mocha ( Puggle) out this morning to do "her business"...and I got to watch the little Hummers that are still here.

The little male is gone...but there are now 2 more females..

So far as I've seen they'er still visiting the feeders about every 15 minutes.
The strange thing is they'er not fighting or diving at each other like in the earlier months.
A couple times this morning all 3 females were
at the same feeder... sitting & drinking..
Wonder if it's because there are no males around?
Or less hummers so there is less competition at the feeders?

They'er still curious little jewels though..
because I was standing at the kitchen sink & I saw movement at the window..looked up &
a female was hovering ..peeking in the window at me... I just hope it wasn't her way of saying "goodbye"..
I don't want them to leave :-(
