We are second and third graders from the Woodhull School on Fire Island. We took a walk down to the beach and saw thousands and thousands of butterflies migrating. The weather was nice. The sky was blue and gray. We watched for about 20 minutes and we counted about 45 butterflies in one minute. We watched from 1:45 to 2:05.
